The Daisy Gala Ball which is sponsored by Cellnex is now in its fourth year has raised over €470K towards a second Daisy Lodge in Mayo. This new therapeutic centre will be a safe, supportive space where families navigating childhood cancer can focus on spending time together. It is inspired by Cancer Fund for Children’s existing Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, County Down which supports approximately 1,800 children and parents each year. Having a second therapeutic centre will allow the charity to increase this number to 4,000 a year.
Phil Alexander, CEO of Cancer Fund for Children said, “We are delighted that Wilsons Auction has come on board to support this year’s Grand Daisy Ball. The quality of prizes is truly unique and we are very grateful to Wilsons Auctions who are leading this element. There are prizes for the horse racing enthusiast, art lover, rugby and football fans, golf fanatics and for those looking for a luxury break.
