Belfast Met’s countdown to Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week 2022

Find out about the benefits of an Investment Operations apprenticeship with Citi in partnership with Belfast Met can bring from the current series of apprentice case studies. Apprentices can meet the team from the College’s Centre for Skills and Apprenticeships and explore pathways available locally.

One of the highlights of Northern Ireland Apprenticeships Week is the Annual Apprenticeship Week Awards, and Belfast Met has been shortlisted for the third year running in partnership with Fusion Heating Ltd. in the Small to Medium Enterprises Award category. Fusion Heating currently has five Belfast Met apprentices training with them and we wish them all the best of luck for the awards which take place on 9th February.

 

Aidan Sloane, Director of Development and Digital at Belfast Met, confirmed: “At Belfast Met we have a deep commitment to apprenticeships and continues to work with companies such as Citi and Fusion Heating that are committed to developing skills. The College is committed to supporting businesses to train and upskill their workforce, and to ensure that apprentices thrive in their chosen career pathway for the next steps in their future career.”

The line-up is as follows:

  • Thursday the 10 February 2022 from 15:00-16:00. Belfast Met’s Professional Services Apprenticeships Webinar.  Learn about apprenticeships available in business services sectors such as financial services, sales and business administration.  Meet the team who will support you through your apprenticeship journey whether you are a prospective student or employer and ask them questions directly via live Q and A Belfast Metropolitan College – Financial Services Apprenticeships.
  • 7-11 February – Belfast Met’s Citi apprentices case studies who are training through Belfast Met to gain their Level 3 Providing Financial Services – Investment Operations. This will be very useful for anyone Interested in working in the financial services sector as you can find out about what types of apprenticeships are available locally.
