Join NI Chamber and AIB on Tuesday 21 June at the next Successful Sustainability event in The Rabbit Hotel, Templepatrick. This event will focus on how businesses can manage their energy resources more efficiently and why doing so will be fundamental to achieving net zero ambitions.

Eddie Ruddell, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager, Ulster Carpets will discuss Ulster Carpets’ sustainability practices. He will focus on why the company has invested in high efficiency equipment and share how it continually reviews its processes to find efficient and sustainable ways to manufacture.

Janine O’Donnell, Energy Services Programme Manager at Power NI, will outline what steps businesses can take to become more efficient, how to monitor energy usage and the importance of using data to make decisions around sustainable investments.

Attendees will learn:

  • How to complete an energy audit for your business.
  • How analytical insights can lead to cost savings and transitioning to sustainable energy.
  • The importance of collecting energy usage data that can inform ESG reporting.
  • How to implement data-led approaches to identify sustainable investments.
