NI Chamber Grow Agri-Food Event with The Henderson Group

NI Chamber, in partnership with Deloitte, invites you to attend a GROW Agri-Food event at Henderson Group, one of the largest employers in Northern Ireland with over 4,000 employees.
Designed to support all businesses operating in the sector, this event will tap into the ambition and potential of Northern Irish companies and support them in realising growth potential.
With a gross annual turnover of £4.8 billion, the agri-food sector currently employs over 23,000 people – its importance to the NI Economy cannot be overstated. Aimed at businesses across the supply chain, this event is suited to growers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and suppliers to the industry.
Henderson Group owns the SPAR, EUROSPAR, ViVO, ViVOXTRA and ViVO Essentials franchises in Northern Ireland and has been distributing food and grocery-related products to the convenience retail sector for over 120 years.
Attendees at GROW Agri-Food will enjoy a special tour of the Henderson Group distribution facility.
Neal Kelly is the Group’s Fresh Food Director. He is responsible for the team that co-ordinates all fresh and perishable product within the network of 460 stores in Northern Ireland. Celebrating 30 years of service in the food industry this year, Neal is also a board member of Food NI.
A passionate advocate of local suppliers, Neal will give an insight into the reinvestment culture within the Henderson group. He will present the types of activity and strategy that have fuelled success to date, as well as providing an insight into the future direction of its fresh food journey.
Guests will benefit from engaging with their peers in the sector, as well as learn from the wealth of support, knowledge and experience of Deloitte experts. The workshop will provide an opportunity to share best practice, facilitate senior level networking and the development of new business connections.
Please note places at this event are limited and restricted due to capacity of the venue. Places will be restricted to one person per company. Priority will be given to agri-food companies that would clearly benefit from the shared learning.
