Cathal Geoghegan

President, Henderson Foodservice

Cathal Geoghegan is the Managing Director of Henderson Foodservice. He was appointed as the President of NI Chamber in June 2023, having served as a Board member since 2020.

A fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, he has vast experience in the foodservice and hospitality sectors, with significant experience at senior leadership level.

He previously held finance roles with The Simon Community, the Grand Opera House Trust and Jurys Doyle Hotel Group in Dublin. In October 2000, Cathal returned to Belfast and joined The Mount Charles Group as Financial Director, before becoming Managing Director of the Group in January 2013. He moved to the Henderson Group in 2018 and has been Managing Director of Henderson Foodservice Limited since then.

Cathal is a Director & Trustee of the Grand Opera House Trust and a Director & Board Member of the Irish Foodservice Supplier Alliance. He is also a mentor for the Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD) Future Leaders Forum Group.
