Over 100 members of the local business community joined Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber) and NIE Networks at a large scale networking event held last week in The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn.
The business event was an opportunity for attendees to grow their network, make new connections and learn from other companies. Delegates heard from Maeve Monaghan, CEO, NOW Group, and Clare McGill, Head of Economic Development, Ards and North Down Borough Council during a business development discussion focusing on the benefits of collaboration between social enterprise and the private sector, and the support available through local councils.
It was the first of five regional networking events taking place across Northern Ireland in 2020 that form the NI Chamber Regional Networking Series, in partnership with NIE Networks.
