Thank you to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for the invite to speak at the launch of the new NI Enterprise Support Service, Go Succeed NI.
It was an honour to share my start-up journey, disappointments and all,and share, how the council has been a constant support to Shareit biz from day 1.
I shared how after 20 years of a career working for AIB bank, initially I found it very daunting to go out on my own and start a business.
But that feeling was short-lived after reaching out to the Council which offered me mentorship support via the Transform Your Business program in 2021.
From undertaking this program many more opportunities came my way which have been instrumental in helping Shareit biz to what it is today, which is a growing community of over 300 start-ups and businesses across the island of Ireland, Freely, accessing business support and funding opportunities from all providers across the Island from 1 platform.
