SRC had over 40 local businesses in attendance in our NEW Banbridge Campus on Wed 16th Nov. Guests were greeted with tea, coffee and freshly baked scones from our catering department and networking commenced before the seminar began.

The seminar was launched by ABC Mayor Paul Greenfield who welcomed everyone to the event as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Ciaran Cunningham from Banbridge District Enterprise spoke about the Cultural Heritage Project and disseminated the key learnings from the initiative. A key output of this project will be an online learning platform available to businesses from Dec 22.

Alan Hamilton from Brilliant Trails highlighted examples of local cultural sites where technology has been deployed in the ABC region and NI.

Kieran Swail & Cathal McDonnell provided an overview of the latest developments in technology and tourism and shared practical examples of the projects they have been working on which were fully funded under the Department of the Economy, InnovateUs Programme.

The seminar concluded with Ian Kennedy leaving attendees on a tour of all of the state-of-the-art digital facilities at the New SRC Banbridge Campus.
