Tourism Ireland, together with three tourism companies from Northern Ireland – including Belleek Pottery, Hastings Hotels and Titanic Hotel Belfast – and four American tour operators, as well as Aer Lingus and Delta, took part in a sales blitz to the United States last week.
The ‘Best of Ireland’ sales mission visited key cities in the United States, including Cleveland, Cincinnati, Minneapolis-Saint Paul and Chicago. The schedule included a B2B event in each city, featuring interactive presentations to showcase Northern Ireland and provided an opportunity for participating companies to engage in hundreds of meetings with US travel professionals. It was a valuable platform to inspire and influence the US travel agents, helping to deliver more regional and longer-stay business for Northern Ireland in 2024 and beyond.
