Another successful weekend carried out by our HV/LV maintenance engineers at one of our clients’ sites.
15 Dedicated engineers attended an outage on a Saturday for essential maintenance of the HV/LV network distributions.
Although downtime in a factory/manufacturing plant can be disruptive at times, due to production and operations it proved to be an important call this time round. Partial discharge was found inside one of the HV boxes. This could have led to a catastrophic failure causing unplanned downtime and no doubt unwelcomed costs, hence proving that planned preventive maintenance is key to avoiding this happening.
