PIPS Suicide Prevention Charity proudly announces its receipt of the esteemed King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS) for the year 2023. This esteemed recognition highlights the exceptional contributions made by local volunteer groups throughout the United Kingdom.

Comparable to an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire), the KAVS stands as the highest honour bestowed upon local voluntary organisations in the UK. Notably, recipients are awarded this distinction for life, symbolising enduring commitment and impact.

“We are deeply honoured to receive the King’s Award for Voluntary Service,” said RenĂ©e Quinn, Executive Director of PIPS Charity. “This recognition underscores the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of our volunteers and staff, who selflessly devote themselves to making a difference in the lives of others and fostering hope within our communities.”

The accolade reaffirms PIPS Charity’s commitment to strive for a compassionate society free from suicide and serves as a testament to the collective impact achieved through collaborative community engagement.

In celebration of this achievement, PIPS Charity extends heartfelt gratitude to its volunteers, supporters, and partners who have contributed to its success.
