The Millennium Forum today announced the renewal of its partnership with the Richmond Centre as proud sponsor of its annual Christmas pantomime. The local shopping centre will partner the biggest show of the season once again for the next three years beginning with this year’s festive extravaganza, Sleeping Beauty, which opens at the cityside venue on Fri 26th Nov for a monthly run. The three year partnership was officially launched today by some of the stars of this year’s show, Sleeping Beauty – Orla Mullan (Lilac Fairy) and Keith Lynch (Pickles).

“We are delighted that Richmond Centre has renewed its panto partnership for the next three years at the Millennium Forum. This long term partnership means that we can develop our pantomime offering to create the best in festive entertainment for our customers. It’s been two long years since the city has seen panto performed at Christmas, and this year the Millennium Forum promises a Christmas to remember! In addition, we feel that it’s so important to be supporting the city centre as it emerges from the recent Covid lockdown restrictions, so we are very much looking forward to working with everyone at the Richmond Centre once again.
Lots of fun activities are already planned to celebrate this partnership. We will have a number of competitions to offer Richmond Centre customers the chance to win tickets to see Sleeping Beauty. Customers can look out for our panto cut-out board which will be displayed in the centre throughout the festive season for their chance to win one of many pairs of tickets. All they have to do is to take their own picture of themselves within this fun panto scene and share it on their Instagram, tagging the Forum and the Richmond Centre.”
Sponsorship with the Millennium Forum allows the Richmond Centre and Millennium Forum to support the local community via educational projects.
