NOW Group, a renowned social enterprise dedicated to supporting people with barriers to employment and learning, has announced a partnership with search specialists 7twenty to recruit a highly qualified individual for the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The collaboration between NOW Group and 7twenty aims to identify an exceptional candidate who will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s continued growth, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and impactful initiatives as NOW expands its reach across the island of Ireland.

The Chief Operating Officer will assume a critical leadership position within NOW Group, responsible for overseeing and optimising operational efficiency across all areas of the organisation. With a focus on expanding services and social enterprises, the COO will be at the forefront of NOW Group’s efforts to make a lasting positive impact on individuals with learning difficulties and autism.

Commenting on the new position and on NOW Group’s expansion in Ireland, CEO Maeve Monaghan adds: “Last year, we fulfilled a long-held ambition to launch our first Loaf Café in Dublin, following a two-year search for a suitable location. It was a hugely important step for us as an Organisation and cemented our commitment to delivering all our services for people with disabilities across Ireland.

“To spearhead the growth of the Organisation, we have identified the need for a COO, who will work alongside our Senior Management team and myself.  It’s a huge milestone for us as an Organisation, and a phenomenal opportunity for someone who is committed to furthering our impact, delivering meaningful work and having a senior role with a true purpose.”

NOW Group has built a strong reputation for its innovative and inclusive approach, creating opportunities for individuals often marginalised in society. By partnering with 7Twenty, an esteemed professional search firm known for their expertise in identifying top-tier talent, NOW Group aims to attract candidates who possess the skills, experience, and passion necessary to drive the organisation forward in its mission.

Commenting on the partnership, Gareth Hanna at 7twenty, stated, “NOW Group has a remarkable track record in empowering individuals with learning difficulties and autism, and at 7twenty, we are dedicated to finding a Chief Operating Officer who will further enhance their impact and support their vision for the future.”
