• FURTHER.SPACE are searching for new landowner partners across Scotland to invest in to grow their accommodation footprint in Scotland in 2022
• Diversifying current businesses or creating completely new glamping businesses
• Generating local jobs and profit within the community
• The company are running face to face business events across Scotland this Autumn for potential partners to find out more and have a VR tour of the pod

Throughout September and October FURTHER.SPACE will be holding in-person information events at 5 locations across Scotland as they search for new local landowners to diversify and start a new glamping business.

FURTHER.SPACE operates luxury glamping pod accommodation across Scotland and Ireland, and are looking for micro-tourism partners to add to their 2 current live Scottish sites to come on board for 2022. Events kicked off in Glasgow on the 7th of September, and this will be followed with 4 more weekly events across Scotland – the second event in Melrose will be on Tuesday 14th September (see below for event details).

Through creating these local partnerships in Scotland, FURTHER.SPACE will be able to successfully develop micro-tourism locally, which will have a positive social impact by generating profit and employment locally. The partnership model (not a franchise) provides luxury en-suite pods, comprehensive booking system, website listing, planning/architectural services, customer reservation and marketing support. Plus local hosts get the benefits of training, business functions and financial support as they set up or diversify their business. As well as supporting smaller-scale landowners, the partnership also successfully brings tourists into more rural areas, which enhances profit recycling within the community as guests will spend locally as experience by existing locations.

For the Partner/Host there are exponential benefits of being part of a larger group to enhance the awareness and promotion to the domestic and International tourism markets. During the events potential new partners are taken through the partnership opportunity, plus they are treated to a ‘Virtual Reality Pod experience’ which allows them to experience what the pod accommodation is like in VR. Current partner and host, Jennifer Dobson, of Hillhead Farm in Dumfries said,

“I have always wanted people experience waking up to the picturesque views of the Nithsdale Valley, that I wake up to every morning. What I liked about Further Space is we didn’t have to purchase the pods. We had just invested heavily into this new business, we just didn’t have any capital to then purchase pods on top of that. There weren’t any other companies that we could find that allowed this kind of partnership approach, so accessibility was a major draw to us.”

So, if you are an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing landowner, with at least 1 acre of land to set aside for Glamping (3 – 6 pods), the FURTHER.SPACE team would love to meet you!
