SRC recently welcomed employees from seven local businesses to complete the IOSH Level 3 Award in Managing Safely for Managers course. This course was fully funded through the Skills Focus Programme funded by the Department for the Economy.

This course provided candidates with the knowledge to manage health and safety activities and risk assessment of personnel, in compliance with organisational safety policies, the Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order and other relevant legislation.

“The IOSH course was really practical, it helped me to achieve my goals in industry: knowledge of risk assessments and the management of safety in the workplace.”

David McConville, Offshore Permit to Work

“I’ve revisited & refreshed my health & safety skills as I completed a NEBOSH Level 3 certificate in 2010. I now feel more confident in a health & safety environment in light of Covid restrictions.”

Sandra Duprey, Banbridge Golf Club
