Flame re-opens at the iconic Ewart Building

Belfast’s culinary landscape has re-welcomed Flame restaurant with the completion of their new restaurant within the new £85M Ewart Building in Belfast.

Marcon fulfilled the role of Principal Contractor to deliver the major 10-week fit out of the new unit which is located on the ground floor of the Ewart Building, just on the corner of Bedford Street and Franklin Street. It’s a spacious venue with a modern and stylish interior and seating for up to 120 guests.

The new restaurant incorporates dining areas, a bar, and private dining room for more intimate functions.  As one of Belfast’s premium restaurants which is committed to providing its customer with great experiences, Flame will be a vibrant addition to the best in class, contemporary design of the historic Ewart.

Flame first opened its doors on Howard Street back in 2013.  A spokesperson from Flame, explained: “We are absolutely delighted to be part of this new and exciting development in the heart of Belfast. This high footfall area will not only benefit our business but also help to grow the city centre economy which Flame has been a part of now for more than a decade. We look forward to welcoming customers to our new location early Summer 2023.”

Marcon’s scope of work included Internal Partitions; mezzanine level, Mechanical and electrical installations, Ceilings; decoration and floor finishes, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and providing a comfortable environment for guests to enjoy their meals.

The works also included the manufacture and installation of a custom-built bar, booth seating and host meet and greet stand as well as decorative fixtures and wall finishes.
