Digital Skills Employment Academy

Fermanagh and Omagh Labour Market Partnership has launched the ‘Digital Skills Employment Academy’. This 8-week programme will seek to equip participants with Digital Skills in order to enhance their employability and help them secure employment.

Labour Market Partnerships, which create targeted employment action plans for council areas, are funded by the Department for Communities, and allow for collaboration at local and regional level to support people towards and into work.

Northern Ireland’s digital sector is booming, with vibrant growth in cybersecurity, fintech, software development and more. This surge presents incredible opportunities for residents across the region, including Fermanagh and Omagh. However, to truly capitalise on this growth, we need a skilled workforce equipped with the necessary digital competencies.

That’s where the Digital Skills Employment Academy steps in. This program bridges the gap between aspiring individuals and the in-demand skills needed to thrive in Northern Ireland’s dynamic digital landscape. By investing in your digital upskilling, you’re not just securing your own future but also contributing to the region’s broader economic success.

Who Can Apply?

Fermanagh and Omagh Labour Market Partnership, in conjunction with ProfileTree Web Design and Digital Marketing Agency, are seeking participants to join the Digital Employment Academy. In order to apply, applicants must meet the following criteria;

  • A resident of the Fermanagh & Omagh Council Area

  • Be unemployed or under-employed

  • Have an interest in Digital Marketing

Digital Skills Employment Academy participants will receive certification upon successful completion of the programme.
