We are thrilled to introduce a new member joining our judging panel for the upcoming 2024 Digital DNA Awards!
Ann McGregor MBE DL DSc (Econ)– Non-Executive Director and Strategic Advisor
Ann is an accomplished CEO and NED with extensive experience in private sector businesses, education and third sector organisations.
Ann has direct experience at C Executive and Non-Executive Director (NED) level in all aspects of business development from strategy to implementation and has a proven track record for business improvement.
She is a BA Honours Graduate of Queen’s University Belfast and holds a MA Marketing from Ulster University and is a Fellow of the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing
In 2023 she was awarded a Doctor of Science in Economics for Services to Business and Commerce from the Queen’s University, Belfast. She was awarded a MBE in the Queen’s diamond jubilee birthday honours list, in recognition of service to small business development and enterprise.
Ann was formerly Chief Executive of Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber), Chief Executive of Enterprise Northern Ireland
and a director with Business in the Community Northern Ireland. She commenced her career in the private sector working in production/materials management with Roche Manufacturing, Schering Plough and Bird’s General Foods before moving into local economic development.
In addition to her NED roles, Ann is currently a Deputy Lieutenant (DL) for Belfast supporting the work of the Lord Lieutenant who represents HRH King Charles in the area and Director, Company Secretary and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee with the Simon Community Northern Ireland
