Civica, the UK’s leading public sector software provider, continues to demonstrate its strategic focus on software growth, through a move to simplify its business by divesting its remaining Licencing and Cloud and Software Lifecycle (LCSL) activity in the UK.
Civica had previously provided third party licencing and CSL services to a range of public bodies, including local authorities, universities, and housing associations. These services are now being taken over by SCC, the technology division of one of Europe’s largest IT groups. SCC has acquired Civica’s LCSL team, its existing customers and partner relationships.
