As part of a £2m investment project, CASC Group NI have further enhanced their engineering capabilities at their Lisburn HQ with the purchase and installation of a TruTube 7000 tube laser from industry leading manufacturers Trumpf. This technology augments an already impressive suite technology, which includes a 5axis waterjet, 4m bed production laser, 3 press brakes and design and fabrication teams. The tube laser will give opportunity for reduced production costs and increased manufacturing output for customers, utilising the technology to streamline the engineering process with highest quality output of mild steel, hardox, aluminium and stainless steel up to 200mm thick. This investment project also includes a second production laser, currently being installed, and once commissioned will elevate standards in NI engineering capabilities across all industry sectors.
