Event Description

Join AWARE NI to take GIANT STEPS for mental health services here in Northern Ireland!

This Causeway Coastal Walk will bring you along the waymarked paths of the spectacular Causeway Coastline. Be prepared for mind-blowing views of sea cliffs, white sand beaches, crashing waves beneath you, and wildlife before celebrating your accomplishment with a beer (or soft drink) and burger!

All funds raised will go towards supporting local people affected by depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.

EVENT DETAILS:

• Date: Saturday, 27 April 2024
• Time: Full-day event – start time TBC closer to event date
• Registration fee: 7 mile – £25, 13 mile – £35, 20 mile – £45
• Fundraising pledge: £50

• 7-MILE ROUTE:  Dunseverick Castle Car Park to Portballintrae Boat Club
• 13-MILE ROUTE: Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge Car Park to Portballintrae Boat Club
• 20-MILE ROUTE: Portballintrae Boat Club to Portballintrae Boat Club (loop via White Park Bay)

 

As a Giant Stepper, you’ll receive:

• A FREE AWARE NI t-shirt
• Free food at the finish line
• A medal and beer/soft drink to celebrate
• Free refreshments at designated pit stops
• Medical assistance and a clearly marked route
