Powerful Presentations: Communicating effectively to manage your business and build sales in a covid environment
Venue:Online Training
Time: 09:00-16:00
Cost:£250+VAT
Non Member:£300+VAT
The last few months have been a true test of leadership. Remote customers, physically distant teams, virtual board meetings and even rising social movements have all put the spotlight on our ability to communicate effectively.
As Maya Angelou famously said, “people will forget what you said, they’ll forget what you did but they’ll never forget the way you made them feel” – and that applies even over Zoom or Microsoft Teams. As lock-down starts to lift, now is the ideal time to invest in how you’re perceived through the camera lens.
What will you learn?
- Benefit from experienced facilitators who have worked with literally thousands of presenters to help them to win business, influence stakeholders and build confidence for presentations, TED Talks, TV appearances, webinars and meetings
- Learn camera presence techniques from experienced BBC journalist Sarah Travers
- Find out how to structure your presentation to persuade and influence
- Get insights into the techniques top speakers use to prepare and perform
How does the course work?
Delivered virtually, the course takes a two-pronged approach to learning. First of all, to build the most impactful presentation you’ll ever give, you’ll access course materials online in your own time and at your own pace. To rehearse delivery and get invaluable feedback on your content, you’ll then work in small groups under the guidance of your facilitators.
This course will help you to adapt and flex to a new way of working – whether virtual or in-person. Make sure that you stand out for all the right reasons at your next webinar, town hall or customer sales pitch.
Online course materials will be accessible from 22 June and small group sessions will take place on 6 July.
Cost:
Members £250+VAT
Non-members £300+VAT
It may be of interest to note that any of your furloughed employees can engage in training, as long as this does not constitute a provision of service or generate revenue for your business.
