NI Chamber and Danske Bank invite you to start your morning with a breakfast event focused on ‘keeping growing businesses in good health’ on Wednesday 6 December.

Jeremy Eakin, Non-Executive Director at Eakin Healthcare Group, will share the phenomenal growth story of the company. Headquartered in Comber with sites and subsidiaries in the UK, Netherlands, France and Japan, the medical device manufacturer, which was founded by Jeremy’s father, now exports to more than 50 countries.

Jeremy will share the Group’s expansion story so far, discussing its growth trajectory and tactics and outlining how it has recently successfully transitioned to a family owned but not family run status.

He will be joined by the Group’s Chief People Officer, Gillian McAuley, an HR expert with more than 35 years of experience in legal and professional practice.

Having commenced her professional career with a downtown Toronto law firm and after completing her articles and call to the Bar, Gillian worked as a Barrister in several Vancouver law firms. She moved to Northern Ireland in 1998, where she has led people strategies for some of the region’s largest employers.

Gillian will focus on the central role of nurturing and developing people in business growth strategies, discussing the practical implications of growing headcounts and preparing internal teams for growth aspirations.
