The HMRC deadline for CDS compliance is fast approaching were companies must be integrated with the new Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
HMRC Guidance:
“Between August 2021 and October 2021, there will be a phased ending of the use of CHIEF for movements between Rest of World and Northern Ireland. By the end of October 2021, all RoW to NI import declarations will need to be made using CDS”.
NI Chamber has therefore launched a new training course that will help businesses to successfully create a CDS entry. This training course will be delivered virtually by NI Chamber’s accredited staff and will:
• Give delegates an overview of the NI Protocol and what it means for businesses.
• Provide a practical walkthrough of the customs declaration process through CDS.
• Demonstrate the gathering of information to complete a customs declaration, while exploring a number of typical common errors when completing declarations.
