Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with SSE Airtricity invite you to join us for an online event which will focus on the challenges of Climate Change for Government and business.
In order to affect climate change and achieve a net zero carbon economy, we must act now, both in policy and in action.
The aim of this event is to bring together key stakeholders and business representatives to discuss climate change and decarbonisation; what major challenges we have ahead and what strategies are likely to be most effective; and to promote positive action to tackle the issues and harness the opportunities it presents.
Speakers include Dr Amanda Slevin, Co-Director, Centre for Sustainability, Equality and Climate Action, Queen’s University Belfast and Chairperson, Climate Coalition Northern Ireland, Thomas Byrne, Director, Energy Strategy at Department for Economy and Steven Agnew, Head of Renewable NI.
This event will be delivered online and will provide attendees with the opportunity to interact with guest speakers and attendees and exchange views with key guests.
