Saturday 5th June is World Environment Day! This year, World Environment Day calls for urgent action to revive our damaged ecosystems, to ultimately Reimagine. Recreate. Restore.
Here at Henry Brothers we want to play our part in addressing environmental issues by pledging to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030. We have publicly committed to this target by signing the Business in the Community Climate Action Pledge NI. This Pledge is a driver for businesses like ours to take action on the current climate emergency.
Since 2014 we have been able to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 34%. The next step in our Net Zero journey is the company-wide rollout of Carbon Literacy Training. This climate change learning will give our personnel the skills and knowledge to lower their carbon footprint.
