Welding Academy Completes at SRC

Candidates on the latest Assured Skills Welding Academy funded by the Department for the Economy, have successfully completed their training & work placement with local employers; Walter Watson, Agnew Engineering, Hyster Yale, Total Batching Systems, NC Engineering and SFM Engineering.
Candidates completed a five-week intensive training course at SRC’s Portadown campus with lecturer Bernard McElmeel. Candidates studied a Level 2 City and Guilds Award in MIG Welding Skills, followed by two weeks of consolidation training with one of the listed employers.
