ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE – NORTHERN IRELAND (RESIDENTIAL)

Unlock the potential for your 12 to 14-year-old to learn more about the exciting world of engineering. Engineering Experience – Northern Ireland is a course that dares students to imagine the world of tomorrow in the company of other likeminded young people who’ll share the same interest and passion for STEM. Try solving problems faced by real-life engineers, work on fun real-world projects with others and experience life away from home, staying at Queen’s University Belfast. Engineering Experience – Northern Ireland is a course created for 12 to 14-year-old students (Years 9/10) who have an interest in exploring and understanding modern engineering.

Combining fun, action-packed days with a programme of evening social activities, this course is run by our experienced team of Smallpeice youth delivery experts and supervisors. Students are exposed to three different areas of engineering they could study at university, covering cyber security, electrical and space engineering. The course also encourages students to get creative and improve their teamwork, communication and leadership skills.

Engineering Experience Northern Ireland is supported by Thales in the UK. By partnering with this amazing company, we are able to introduce you to experts in the field and allow you to develop and test your own products with the support and guidance of people who live the engineering life every day.
