We joined NI Chamber to better connect with future-focused businesses across Northern Ireland interested in adopting sustainable practices for the long-term benefit of their businesses.

Supporting 3T Power’s business

In addition to enjoyable and engaging networking events (Golf days and breakfast events at Ulster Rugby come to mind), we have also been able to leverage our membership to deliver real value for our business, helping us to establish valuable lines of communication and relationships which have resulted in significant new business growth for our business.

Real connections and big business at Meet the Buyer

Shortly after joining the Chamber in September 2024, we had the opportunity to engage with their annual Meet the Buyer event. Unsure what we would get out of the event, our team planned to attend with an open mind and were delighted to be matched with Belfast City Council.

We had the opportunity to be given a ten-minute window to sit down and discuss our business model, USPs, and how we work with local businesses and organisations to green their energy supply whilst supporting local renewable electricity generators.

Through this conversation, we asked for the opportunity to tender, and we believe this offered a valuable foot in the door when the Council opened their procurement process.

We are proud to have won the contract, which was valued at upwards of £20m over five years, and credit the Chamber with providing the forum that enabled an ambitious local disruptor brand like 3T Power to make connections that enabled real growth for our business.

Final thoughts

I would encourage any business looking to grow their networks and make genuine connections to invest in a membership for NI Chamber. Like all things, you’ll get out what you put in, and investing the time to attend events, coming to the table with an open mind, taking advantage of opportunities developed by the brilliant Chamber team, and joining in the spirit of collaboration and cooperation will benefit any business or professional.
