Workforce Wellness has been named Mental Health & Wellbeing Initiative of the Year at the Construction News Workforce Awards, recognising its work delivering meaningful, measurable wellbeing impact across the construction sector.

The award was presented for RenewYou, a purpose-built, co-developed programme created in partnership with GRAHAM Group. The initiative was recognised among an exceptional shortlist featuring some of the UK’s largest construction and civil engineering organisations, including BAM UK & Ireland, Canary Wharf Contractors, GMI Construction Group PLC, Amey, Lorclon Ltd, PEOPLE Asset Management Group Limited, Staticus, and The Ardmore Group.

RenewYou is a 90-day, data-led wellbeing programme designed specifically for the realities of construction work. Built using insights from Bupa health data, the programme combines expert coaching, in-depth lifestyle education, habit tracking, and real-time dashboards. To date, it has supported over 2,200 employees across the business.

The results speak clearly:

↳ 85% active participation

↳ 93% of participants felt better equipped to manage stress

↳ 90% built sustainable wellbeing habits

The judging panel commented:

“A fantastic initiative that effectively uses technology to reach everyone across the business. The detailed and well-supported submission clearly demonstrates impact, with strong data showcasing impressive results. A brilliant example of how innovation and communication can drive engagement across an organisation.”

This marks the second national award for RenewYou in just three months, following its win for Best Corporate Healthcare Programme at the Private Healthcare Excellence Awards.

A powerful moment for Workforce Wellness, and a clear signal that data-led, well-designed wellbeing programmes can deliver real change in demanding industries like construction.
