Woodside Logistics Group secured the Family Business of the Year award, sponsored by AbbeyAutoline, in recognition of its outstanding contribution to professional transport and logistics services across the UK and Ireland.
As a family-owned business, Woodside Logistics Group operates through five key divisions: ambient transport and warehousing, car transport, tankers, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
The company’s roots trace back over 55 years to Ballynure, where three brothers expanded their family’s modest fleet of lorries from their farm into what is now a leading logistics provider. Reflecting on the company’s journey, Group Director Robert Woodside credited the strength of their workforce, noting that having a “great team” has been a “huge factor” in their continued success.
