HAPANI are delighted to announce the launch of a Refugee Intergration Pilot Project. This project has been developed and led by refugees with lived experience. This innovative initiative is set to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable refugee women in Belfast by fostering safety, integration, and cross-community relationships.

Running until 20 March 2025, the project will:

• Recruit, vet, and train women volunteers from host communities as community navigators.
• Pair these volunteers with refugee women to support integration and access to essential services.
• Host community connection gatherings to promote cultural awareness, dialogue, and social interaction.

This project presents a unique opportunity for fellow NI Chamber of Commerce businesses with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) schemes to contribute to a critical cause and strengthen community ties.
