We have published our latest newsletter which provides an overview of our work over the past month.

In this edition, we bid a fond farewell to our Chairman, Bill Emery, who joined us in 2012, and to our Board Member, Teresa Perchard, who joined us in 2013.

We also look at the site visits and conferences we have attended over the past month to expand and share knowledge, as we continue to protect the short and long-term interests of consumers of electricity, gas and water.

On September 11, we held an event to inform stakeholders about the changes to the regulated entitlement values which will take effect from 1 October 2024.

Our Chief Executive, John French, was pleased to deliver a speech at AgendaNi Magazine’s Northern Ireland Energy Forum on September 17, as he discussed our 2024-2029 Corporate Strategy, ‘Protecting Consumers on the way to Net Zero.’

Also this month, we published our Quarterly Retail Energy Market Monitoring (QREMM) Report for Q2 2024, which provides a range of information about the retail energy market in Northern Ireland.

In the September issue, we focus on the work of our Head of Compliance and Enforcement, Barbara Stevenson, and our Compliance and Enforcement Manager, Nadine Mercer, as we launch our new Compliance Monitoring and Reporting Framework.
