- Seventh consecutive quarter where NI household spending power is down, although the magnitude of the drop is falling as inflation slows.
- 17 per month less discretionary income than a year ago.
- The near-term outlook appears more positive, with subsiding inflation and continued wage growth set to support households. Alongside other areas of the UK, Northern Ireland is expected to see a return to annual growth in spending power from Q3 onwards.
