Assisi Animal Sanctuary is proud to announce a new social value partnership with Swift Shift Removals, demonstrating how businesses can create meaningful impact for local communities while supporting one of Northern Ireland’s largest independent animal welfare charities.

As part of the partnership, Swift Shift Removals will donate quality furniture and household items from its warehouse to Assisi’s charity shops, helping generate vital income that enables the charity to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome hundreds of vulnerable animals every year.

The partnership goes beyond the donation of furniture. By giving unwanted items a second life, Swift Shift Removals is helping to reduce waste, support the circular economy and invest directly in the welfare of animals across Northern Ireland.

Every item sold through Assisi’s charity shops helps fund food, shelter, veterinary care and rehabilitation for animals who have experienced neglect, abandonment or abuse.

Each year, Assisi Animal Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes around 700 dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals. Receiving no government funding, the charity relies entirely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, fundraising initiatives and income from its charity shops to continue its life-saving work.
