Solmatix is supporting West Mercia Energy’s September launch campaign for its Supply and Installation of Solar PV Framework, helping schools and public sector organisations move from decarbonisation planning to delivery.
Previously announced as an appointed supplier on the framework’s London lot, Solmatix is highlighting the opportunity for schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts in the region to progress solar projects through an established procurement route.
The framework offers Direct Award and Further Competition options, alongside managed and self-service procurement support from WME.
For education leaders considering solar, the focus is on translating plans into installations suited to their buildings, electricity consumption and operational requirements.
Neville Bell, Managing Director of Solmatix, said: “For schools considering solar, knowing how to take the next step can be a challenge. This framework provides a clear route forward, and we look forward to bringing our education sector experience to projects across London, helping schools develop systems that meet their needs and support long-term energy savings.”
Solmatix delivers renewable energy projects across the UK and Ireland, with education experience including Sydenham High School in London.
Schools and public sector organisations can contact Solmatix to discuss their project requirements. For guidance on accessing the framework, visit West Mercia Energy’s framework webpage or email customerservices@westmerciaenergy.co.uk.
