Andrew Ellis is presented with the Office Cleaner of the Year award by Jordan Hurley from SOAP2O and Martin Laughlin is presented with the Manufacturing Cleaner of the Year award by Paul Coote from PJD safety supplies.
Two Sodexo employees came out top at the inaugural Northern Ireland Cleaning Awards in Belfast on Friday 21st October 2022.
Andrew Ellis from Sodexo’s Government Services won Office Cleaner of the Year while Martin Laughlin, based at Seagate in Co. Derry, won Manufacturing Cleaner of the Year. Valerie Bodell from Government Services was a finalist in the Education Cleaner of the Year category.
The shortlisting of applicants and finalist site visits were carried out by the British Institute of Cleaning Science Training and Services division. It is the largest independent, professional and educational body within the cleaning industry in the UK.

Sodexo set up a Cleaning Family Forum virtual community during the pandemic to support its professional cleaning teams at the frontline in the battle against the virus and it has proved so successful, they have decided to continue it. It hosts technical virtual webinars and highlights member achievements and awards throughout the year.
