Last Friday saw Northern Ireland face another nerve-wracking wait for that all important call.
After a whopping £105,000 was given away last week, this week’s prize pot marked the biggest ever giveaway amount to date.
With £110,000 up for grabs, who wouldn’t be waiting beside the phone!
Slimming World consultant Sinéad Watson, from Newtownabbey, couldn’t believe her luck amidst hosting her son Bo’s 13th birthday party, when she received the call of a lifetime from John Kearns whilst trying to order pizza for the party.
It’s safe to say after Sinéad’s hilarious response, it only made sense for John to catch up with her and son, Micheál on what life will be like now, as the Cash Call’s largest ever winner and how she plans to spend the enormous prize.
“My first reaction was how could this ever happen to me,” exclaims Sinéad. “Winning such a large amount of money is beyond my wildest dreams.”
Sinéad continues,
“This has been life changing for me and my family, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief, when you see all those zeros first hand, it’s only natural to be in disbelief”
Once the shock wears off, Sinéad plans to finally get a slice of pizza and celebrate her big win with her two sons, Micheál & Bo, and dog Jazz.
2022 looks to be making the Cash Call a year we won’t forget, with an astounding £537,571 being given away already, helping families like Sinead’s enjoy an extra special Easter this year.
