Locally-owned electricity supplier continues sponsorship supporting , the U11, U13 and U15 squads
Share Energy – the locally-owned electricity company that will share half its profits with customers – is helping the next generation of local hockey players through its continued sponsorship of Larne Ladies Hockey Club’s junior teams.
The company’s sponsorship means it will continue to support the club’s U11, U13 and U15 squads with training tops, ensuring their training gear complements their playing kits.
The partnership reflects Share Energy’s commitment to supporting the communities it serves and investing in opportunities for young people to get involved in grassroots sport.
For the players, the new training tops provide more than practical protection from the Northern Ireland weather. Wearing the club colours helps create a strong sense of identity and belonging across the junior squads.
Hannah Robinson, who plays for the U11 team, said: “Putting on my training top I get to look like one of our 1st XI. I never go to training or matches without it on. It is great for the chilly wet weather and makes the team have a winning spirit. Thank you, Share Energy!”
U13 player Lilly Wilson said: “Thank you for sponsoring our sports gear. Your support means so much to the team and helps us look and feel the part!”
For U15 player Ella Johnston, having matching training tops has also helped strengthen the sense of togetherness within the team.
“It’s such a great feeling walking onto the pitch with your teammates all wearing the same kit,” Ella said. “It shows that we are all together representing Larne. We’re really thankful to have a local company supporting us and being part of the team.”
