SERC Deliver Free Upskilling for Growth Programmes in the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Area

South Eastern Regional College (SERC) is set to deliver a new suite of training programmes targeted at senior managers and employers from construction, vehicle, heating and plumbing businesses adapting renewable energy technology who need to upskill staff to help progress in their business.

Fully funded by the Newry Mourne and Down Labour Market Partnership through the Department for Communities, the Upskilling for Growth programmes start from January – March 2023, and offer upskilling opportunities in Introduction to Hydrogen Boilers, Low Energy Buildings, Electrical Vehicle Charging Equipment, HVO Bio Fuels, and the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Photovoltaic Systems or Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems.   In addition, a CMI Level 7 Award in Strategic Management will help develop strategic management and leadership management.
