The 4-star Roe Park Resort in Limavady has introduced a revolutionary indoor golf simulator to the luxury resort, which has established itself as one of Northern Ireland’s premier golf destinations. The Trackman 4 golf simulator provides visiting golf enthusiasts and guests access to the latest in golf launch monitor and simulator technology.

This recent investment in the Golf Academy at the Roe Park Resort builds on the resort’s reputation as one of the top spots for golfers in the North Coast. As well as having its own 18-hole parkland course and newly upgraded Indoor Trackman Golf Room, the Roe Park Resort offers an 18 bay driving range, golf shop, short game area and putting green. The resort’s location, close to some of the world’s greatest links courses on the North Coast and just a short drive from the world-renowned Royal Portrush, makes it a must-visit location for amateurs and seasoned golfers alike.

Launching the new golf simulator technology, Michael McCrudden, Resident PGA Professional at the Roe Park Resort said, “The virtual Trackman 4 Golf Launch Monitor is a powerhouse in technology and is used by the top players and coaches worldwide. It features some of the best courses and is specially designed to mimic real-world conditions with drone mapping used to render courses with great detail and in high-definition graphics.

“At the Roe Park Resort golf academy, on-site PGA professionals and our experienced team are on hand to get golfers set up to use the Trackman system for playing over 120 world class courses or using the Shot Analysis software. We also deliver a full custom golf club fitting service, with coaching available using launch monitor data.”

He continued, “As well as helping to improve your game for the serious golfer, the simulator also offers some fun games for families and groups including Bullseye, Closest to the Pin, Hit it! and Capture the Flag – ideal for those days that are not so sunny.”

This new technology allows golfers to play over 120 world famous courses such as Valderrama, PGA National, Royal Portrush and, the home of golf, St. Andrew’s.

This recent addition to the facilities at the Roe Park Resort follows the announcement of an ongoing investment programme of £1.7m that has seen upgrades to the resort’s 118 luxury bedrooms and a major refurbishment of its main function room, the Danny Boy Suite.
