RenewableNI, the voice of Northern Ireland’s renewable electricity industry, hosted an event in the home of local government.
RenewableNI spent the day in The Long Gallery at Stormont to highlight the potential of building NI’s offshore wind industry.
The event was attended by MLAs from the Executive parties, and 100 people from across the sector including developers, NGOs, investors, government departments, supply chain and skills/apprenticeships.
Peter McReynolds MLA opened the afternoon before introducing Zoe Crowe, Head of Renewable Electricity at Department for the Economy NI and Will Apps, Offshore Wind Director at The Crown Estate.
Later in the day, there was a panel discussion featuring ESB, North Channel Wind, Simply Blue Group and SSE Renewables.
