Premier Electrics were delighted to present a cheque for over £26,000 to Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke (NICHS) as part of their annual Charity of the Year Programme.
At their Head Office in Bellaghy, Premier Electrics were joined by representatives from NICHS for a coffee morning and cheque presentation for money raised through their participation at this year’s Belfast City Marathon.
Commenting on the morning, Lindsay Lutton, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator at NICHS said, “It was great to join the team at Premier Electrics to speak about the work our charity does and thank them all for the fantastic amount of money they have raised!”
“Almost 90% of our income comes from public donations. Fundraising efforts like Premier Electrics’ are vital to the work we do across our care and prevention services, research projects and campaigning. We are very grateful to have Premier Electrics’ support throughout 2026, our 80th anniversary year.”
Tony Shivers, Managing Director of Premier Electrics, commented “I am once again immensely proud of our employees who trained hard to participate in the Belfast Marathon and who were so well supported in our fundraising through family, friends and business contacts.”
“As a business, we are proud of our roots, so it’s great to support a cause that matters so much to people in our local area.”
Premier Electrics Charity of the Year Programme has supported numerous charities with Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke being the latest in a list of beneficiaries that includes in recent years NI Hospice and The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
