The Millennium Forum has just announced that local gas network operator, Kinecx Energy, will partner with the North West’s leading cultural venue as Show Sponsor of its award-winning annual Christmas pantomime. The new partnership was recently launched at the theatre with panto Dame, Gary Wilson, who, alongside Cara McCartney (Creative Engagement Manager, Millennium Forum) and David McLaughlin (Chief Executive, Millennium Forum), welcomed Mark Stevenson from Kinecx Energy to a three year corporate partnership that begins with this year’s offering, Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. The new partnership will enable Kinecx Energy to align its brand to the biggest show in the North West’s festive calendar.
Speaking at the launch, Cara McCartney, Development & Creative Engagement Manager at the Forum, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Kinecx Energy as our panto Show Sponsor for the next three years. Panto is our biggest show of the year and their support is greatly appreciated as it will help us to continue producing the highest quality production each Christmas for all our patrons to enjoy with their loved ones. I am looking forward to working with Kinecx Energy for what will be a mutually beneficial sponsorship over the next three years.”
Mark Stevenson, Kinecx Energy, added:
“At Kinecx Energy, we are incredibly proud to partner with the Millennium Forum as Show Sponsor of its annual Christmas pantomime. As a company that operates the local natural gas network – bringing warmth, comfort and convenience to homes – we know a thing or two about keeping people cosy. And while we can’t promise a magic mirror, we can promise that this partnership reflects our commitment to supporting the communities we serve and celebrating experiences that bring people together.
We value programmes that allow families to share joy, laughter and lasting memories – without anyone needing to venture into an enchanted forest. Pantomime is a much‑loved tradition, and we are delighted to support what promises to be a fantastic production of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs.”
The Millennium Forum’s annual Christmas pantomime is the biggest show in the city and region’s festive calendar. Last year, Beauty & The Beast broke all box office records and was the highest grossing panto in the theatre’s 25 year history. This year, Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs will perform at the Millennium Forum from 27th November until 31st December. Tickets go on sale @ 10am on Tues 21st April. Telephone the Box Office on 71 264455 (option 1) or visit millenniumforum.co.uk for bookings.
