Belfast-based audio-visual integrator Niavac has completed a flagship contract at Ardnashee School in Derry, strengthening its position as one of Northern Ireland’s leading providers of innovative technology solutions.
The project, a major investment in one of the region’s largest special educational needs (SEN) schools, combines a 5-metre LG LED video wall, Clevertouch interactive displays and campus-wide CleverLive digital signage to create an inclusive, future-ready learning environment.
Showcasing Northern Ireland expertise
“This was more than an AV project, it was about designing an environment where technology works seamlessly to support every student’s potential,” said James Conlon, Director at Niavac. “It showcases the expertise that Northern Ireland businesses can bring to designing transformative solutions for the education and public sectors.”
Transforming teaching and communication
The new Clevertouch interactive screens enable accessible, collaborative learning for students of all abilities. A 5-metre LG LED video wall now serves as the school’s visual hub for assemblies and performances, while CleverLive signage provides staff with instant communication tools across the campus.
Ardnashee’s Principal, Raymond McFeeters, said: “The interactive features are invaluable for engaging pupils in meaningful ways. The visual impact of the video wall has transformed how we deliver content to large groups, and the signage system helps us keep everyone informed and connected.”
A growing footprint in education and beyond
With more than 60 years’ experience, Niavac continues to expand its footprint across the education, corporate and public sectors. The Ardnashee project demonstrates how innovative local firms are delivering world-class solutions that enhance learning environments, support inclusion and showcase the strength of Northern Ireland’s AV industry.
