Highly respected Belfast-based accountancy and advisory firm Muldoon is joining Azets, the international accountancy and business advisory group, marking the next phase of growth for the business while strengthening its ability to support clients across Northern Ireland and beyond.
Now into its fourth decade, Muldoon has built a strong reputation through long-standing client relationships, high-quality advice, and a people-first approach. The firm provides accounting, tax, audit and advisory services to more than 860 clients across a broad range of sectors.
The business employs over 40 people and is led by Managing Partner Raymond Tiffney alongside Sean Muldoon and Robbie Barr, all of whom will remain with the business following completion of the transaction. Muldoon will immediately rebrand as Azets.
Raymond Tiffney, Managing Partner at Muldoon, said: “This is an important and positive step for our business, our people and our clients.
“Muldoon has built a strong reputation over many years through trusted relationships, high-quality advice and a very personal approach to supporting clients. Protecting those relationships and that culture was critically important to us throughout this process.
“Joining Azets gives us access to broader specialist expertise, deeper capability and increased investment, while allowing us to continue supporting clients in the same relationship-led way that defines our business today.”
Peter Gallanagh, UK & Ireland CEO at Azets, said: “Muldoon is a highly respected business with an excellent reputation, strong leadership team and deep client relationships across Northern Ireland.
“There is a clear alignment between our firms in how we support clients, develop our people and think about long-term growth. We are delighted to welcome the Muldoon team to Azets and excited about the opportunities this creates for clients and colleagues alike.”
Clients will continue working with the same advisers and teams they do today, while benefiting from access to broader specialist expertise, increased scale and wider capability across the Azets business.
The partnership creates new opportunities for growth and collaboration while maintaining Muldoon’s strong local presence and long-standing commitment to clients across Northern Ireland.
