Mediation NI has renewed its membership with NI Chamber, marking the occasion by sharing news of a significant milestone achieved at the close of 2025: being named Social Enterprise of the Year 2025.

The award was presented at the end of last year at the Social Enterprise NI Awards, recognising Mediation Northern Ireland’s continued growth and its evolution into a commercially robust, profit-for-purpose organisation delivering specialist conflict resolution services across workplaces, communities, education, and the public sector.

The accolade capped a year of strong performance, during which the organisation expanded delivery, secured major contracts, and demonstrated measurable social and economic impact through its mediation and accredited training work.

Commenting on the award, Bobby Marno, Business Development & Strategy Director at Mediation Northern Ireland, said:

“Winning Social Enterprise of the Year reflects the strength of our model: commercially robust, socially driven, and focused on real-world outcomes. Conflict is inevitable; how organisations handle it is where value is created or lost. Our work helps leaders and teams deal with that reality properly.”

Over the past year, Mediation Northern Ireland has:

Delivered mediation and accredited training to hundreds of individuals across Northern Ireland

Secured six-figure contract wins across public, education, and third-sector clients

Independently evidenced a strong Social Return on Investment, demonstrating significant value created of £7.04 for every £1 invested

Continued to grow a trusted associate network of experienced mediators and facilitators

Renewing membership with NI Chamber reflects Mediation Northern Ireland’s commitment to deeper engagement with the wider business community. The organisation works with SMEs, large employers, and public bodies to address workplace conflict early, reduce escalation, and support healthier, more productive working environments.

To mark both its award success and renewed Chamber membership, Mediation Northern Ireland is offering an exclusive 12.5% discount to NI Chamber members on selected workplace mediation and training services during 2026.

As demand grows for practical conflict resolution capability — particularly in high-pressure, fast-changing environments — Mediation Northern Ireland plans to expand delivery across the UK and Ireland through a blend of in-person and digital services, while continuing to contribute to best practice in workplace conflict management.
