Mechanical and engineering specialist Irwin M&E has promoted six Associate Directors to Executive Director roles

Mechanical and engineering specialist Irwin M&E has promoted six Associate Directors to Executive Director roles as the company continues to expand its operations and project portfolio across the UK and Ireland.

Alan Pedlow, Colin Monaghan, Garry Baxter, James Magwood, Neal Dodds and Robin Higgins have joined the company’s Executive Board, alongside existing Executive Directors Richard Megarity and Chris Adams, and Managing Director Keith Stewart.

The promotions come during a period of sustained growth for the business, which now employs more than 310 people and continues to increase activity across healthcare, education, hospitality and residential sectors.
Recent projects awarded to the firm include Queen’s University Belfast’s landmark £37 million Momentum One Zero project, alongside three major contract with the Education Authority in Northern Ireland. These four-year contracts for Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance and Minor Works cover three geographical regions; Antrim and Newtownabbey and Mid and East Antrim, Belfast and Newry Mourne and Down. These awards strengthen Irwin M&E’s long-standing relationship with the Education Authority, having delivered similar contracts for over 10 years.
