McCue Delivers International Hospitality Fit-Out for Rhubarb Hospitality Collection in Hamburg

Northern Ireland-headquartered fit-out contractor McCue has successfully completed the interior fit-out of Elemente Restaurant at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, one of Europe’s most anticipated new retail and leisure destinations, marking another significant milestone in the company’s growing international portfolio.
Appointed as main contractor for the project, McCue delivered the full end-to-end fit-out of the premium restaurant on behalf of URW (Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield), working in close collaboration with the Rhubarb Hospitality Collection and the wider professional team. The scope of works included the manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery throughout, produced in McCue’s own workshop in Carrickfergus, demonstrating the company’s ability to bring Northern Ireland craftsmanship to landmark projects across Europe.
Rhubarb Hospitality Collection is one of the UK and Europe’s most respected premium hospitality operators, with a portfolio spanning iconic venues including the Sky Garden and Headspace at The Shard in London. Their appointment to Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier reflects the scale and ambition of the development, and McCue’s selection as fit-out contractor underscores the trust placed in the Co. Antrim firm to deliver at the highest level on the international stage.
The completed Elemente restaurant reflects the design-led, high-specification finish synonymous with the Rhubarb brand, a result made possible through McCue’s integrated delivery model combining project management, specialist joinery manufacture and skilled site installation under one roof.
This project adds to McCue’s expanding European track record, which includes recent retail fit-outs for Anthropologie at Coal Drops Yard in London and Urban Outfitters in Lille, France, further evidence of a Northern Ireland business competing and winning on a global scale.
