Marie Doyle, Head of Deloitte’s Belfast office, has been appointed Chair of the Belfast City & Region Place Partnership.
Speaking about her appointment, Marie highlighted the scale of opportunity already emerging across the region.
“The Belfast City Region has enormous potential and we, as a partnership, are aiming to position the city region for an unprecedented era of investment, regeneration and sustainable growth,” she said. “From the bustling innovation districts of Belfast city to the vibrant towns across our wider region, this is a place alive with energy, creativity and ambition.”
Marie emphasised the city region’s growing profile as an economic powerhouse, noting the transformation already reshaping Belfast’s skyline and the renewed confidence across local towns and communities.
“This is a capital city redefining what it means to be a connected, competitive region. One that attracts global business, nurtures innovation and delivers inclusive prosperity.”
The Belfast City & Region Place Partnership brings together leaders from across the public and private sectors to champion the region internationally, strengthen collaboration and accelerate shared economic priorities.
Under Marie’s stewardship, the partnership will intensify efforts to amplify the city region’s story on the global stage, connecting investors, innovators and developers with opportunities that make the Belfast City Region one of Europe’s most exciting and investable markets.
Marie noted Deloitte’s commitment to supporting sustainable, inclusive growth as well as the power of combining global insight with local collaboration.
